This Privacy Policy describes how Busbar, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Busbar", "we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the getbusbar.com website. Our address is 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware 19808, USA.

1. The Busbar software does not send your data to us

Busbar is an open-source, self-hosted AI control plane. When you run Busbar on your own infrastructure, we do not receive, collect, store, or have any access to:

Busbar does not include telemetry that phones home to us. Any observability data (Prometheus metrics, OTLP traces) goes only to the endpoints you configure on your own infrastructure, never to us.

2. The getbusbar.com website

The getbusbar.com website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages (operated by Cloudflare, Inc.). We do not set tracking cookies, use third-party ad networks, or run behavioral tracking tools on this website.

We use Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly, aggregate page analytics. Plausible is cookieless and does not collect or store any personal data or personally identifiable information: it sets no cookies, does not track you across websites or over time, and does not fingerprint your device. All data is aggregated and contains no information that could identify an individual visitor. Analytics data is processed within the EU. For details, see Plausible's Data Policy.

Because the site is served through Cloudflare, Cloudflare may process standard web server request metadata, such as IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, and request timestamps, as part of delivering pages to you and protecting the site from abuse. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy .

Site-wide search is powered by Pagefind, a client-side search library. Your search queries are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to us or any third-party server.

3. Information you choose to send us

If you contact us by email, submit the contact form on this website, or open an issue or discussion on our GitHub repository, we will receive whatever information you include in that message, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry or address the reported issue. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for marketing purposes.

The contact form submits your message to a serverless function running on Cloudflare Workers, which relays it to us by email through Resend (operated by Resend, Inc.), our transactional email provider. Resend processes the message only to deliver it to us. See Resend's Privacy Policy for details. The form sets no cookies and performs no tracking.

4. No sale of personal data

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third-party advertisers.

5. Your rights

Because we hold so little, there is very little to exercise rights over: no account, no profile, and no advertising data. If you have sent us a message, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the information in that correspondence, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it by law. To make a request, email [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we honor those rights for the limited information described above.

6. Children

This website is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
